Our GOURMET chili sauce is a reflection of our way of thinking and living.
The work we’re doing is priceless.
In the photo, you can see tiny mushrooms that Sara and her four-legged friends from Slovenian Istria are searching for and digging out for us. This is the black Istrian truffle used for creating our GOURMET medium hot chili sauce – each bottle contains as much as 14% of this black gold.
Each truffle is hand cleaned, brushed and finely grated before they’re added to the sauce. After each bottle is filled, we let the sauce rest for a month, so that the special aroma that contributes to the divine taste of the sauce can develop.
The sauce goes amazingly well with Istrian fuži or to improve on your favorite sauce, pizza, hamburger, spread or use it to prepare an unforgettable omelet. It works wonders for risottos, too.
There are lots of combinations possible, you just need to seek for the best one of you.
Store in a cool, dark place. Shake well before use. After opening, keep refrigerated for up to 3 months.
